At A&J Jewelers, our American Gem Society Certified Gemologists are ready to provide you with the appraisals you need to valuate your jewelry. Whether you require an appraisal for insurace purposes or because you just need to know, our experienced watch and jewelry appraisers will assess your items based on the most current, up-to-date market information for precious stones and metals. You can be sure that our valuation is true and accurate and can be literally "taken to the bank". How can you tell that we are qualified? The gemologists at A&J Jewelers hold the highest credentials in the industry. Professional titles are the best way to tell. Some titles such as "gemologist" are used frequently and can be used by anyone regardless of whether they have completed professional gemological training. At A&J Jewelers, we have Certified Gemologists (CG) who have the most advanced title awarded by the American Gem Society (AGS) www.ags.org. The American Gem Society requires us to requalify for this title by examination on an annual basis.
