may already have. You can be involved in every step of the custom
designing process from providing the design requirements and sketches,
to approving the wax patterns, hand selecting stones, and choosing

Our Custom Design Process |
- 1. Design your jewelry or provide us with a design. The design can
originate from almost anywhere - a sketch on a paper napkin or a torn
out page from a magazine. Find that design that you have always dreamed
of, take a picture of it with your smart phone, and let A&J Jewelers
do the rest.
- 2. Our Custom Design Department will create a CAD design. It usually
takes our designers about 3 to 4 working days to create the design.
We will email several images of your design to you for your approval.
Changes to the design can be made at this point in the process.
- 3. Our Custom Design Department will produce a wax model of your jewelry.
You will then have an opportunity to view this wax model and approve
it before we cast the wax into the metal of your choice.
- 4. Once we cast your jewelry we can go ahead and set your stones.
A final polishing process is applied to your jewelry and it will be
complete!

Three-stone rings are a classic way to reset your diamonds. This custom
three-stone ring features
diamonds that came from 4 different sources: an engagement ring, a
diamond pendant, a wedding band (for small diamonds), and a single
diamond stud earring. Our custom jewelry designers were able to create
a single, stunning
three-stone ring without having to provide any new diamonds at all!

This is a custom-made cross using a sketch
that was provided to our custom design team. The customer's vision
was to create a large Jesus crucifix cross using his own diamonds.
The A&J Jewelers custom design team was able to create a 3D Jesus
and superimpose the image onto the cross and create the piece in 14
karat white gold. |

Final Product |
| A customer fell in love with
a ring design that we had in our showcase. Fortunately, she had several
old pieces of jewelry containg the five larger diamonds seen in the
design. Our custom design team redesigned the ring using the customer's
specific diamond sizes and provided the smaller diamonds to complete
the ring. The customer was able to save over $3,000 by using her own
diamonds. |

Sometimes it's necessary to recreate a piece of jewelry
if there are special circumstances for the customer such as a small
finger size. This engagement ring was in our showcase but could not
be sized down enough to fit a finger size 4. Our custom design team
was able to recreate the engagement ring with the specific finger
size of 4. (Note: the prongs are shown much longer to be able to adjust
the height of the diamonds.) |
